Best October 2021 Activities in Reno-Sparks, NV

My absolute favorite (and very cliché) thing to do in October is scope out cute, fun pumpkin patches! Andelin Farms in particular is a family favorite — there’s pony/horse rides for the kiddos, hayrides, a variety of farm animal exhibits, barnyard games, and of course, a huge pumpkin patch with pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from! The farm also has other fun activities to entertain an older audience such as haunted corn mazes and zombie paintball! There’s definitely fun to be had by all.

Going on mid-morning walks in the brisk fall air to admire the beautiful changing leaves is another way we like to spend time together as a family in October. And you can’t go wrong with getting together with friends and family on the weekends to enjoy warm seasonal beverages or staying up late on a Saturday night to watch a scary movie! 😉
