Born in Barcelona and raised along the Mississippi River in Keokuk, Iowa, Dr. Amam Nasir grew up helping run his family's gas station as one of six siblings. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work, human connection, and great service—qualities that shine through in his approach to dentistry.

Dr. Nasir earned both his degree in Human Physiology and his DDS at the University of Iowa, where he spent a decade immersed in leadership, academics, and clinical care. He served as President of the Orthodontics Club, sat on the Executive Board of IASDA, organized campus-wide events, and presented research in craniofacial genetics at national conferences including Harvard Medical School.

Clinically, his training spans endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and more. A highlight was his externship at Broadlawns Medical Center, where he provided emergency dental care to underserved communities.

Before dentistry, Dr. Nasir worked as a brand ambassador for companies like Firestone and Nintendo, developing strong communication skills that now help him connect deeply with patients and deliver care with professionalism and heart.

When he's not in the office, you'll find Dr. Nasir living life to the fullest—DJing house music, riding motorcycles, hitting the gym, exploring new destinations, or learning to snowboard. He even dreams of getting his pilot's license one day.
