Dr. Ryan was born and raised in Reno and is a sixth generation Nevadan. After attending Wooster High School, he received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. He went on to obtain his doctor of dental medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon followed by residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He returned to Reno in 2012 after completing his dental education to reunite with family and friends and has been practicing with children and adolescents in the area ever since. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ryan is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves spending his time enjoying all the outdoors has to offer including fly fishing and golfing. He is also an avid sports fan, and in particular, is passionate about supporting all Wolf Pack athletics. Family is the most important component of Dr. Ryan’s life, and he loves spending all of the time he can with his immediate family including his five and seven year old nephews. Dr. Ryan prides himself on practicing compassionate and fun dentistry with children and creating positive experiences at the dentist that will last a lifetime.
