Sala Family Gives Back In Costa Rica

As many of you know, Sala Family Dentistry was recently honored with the award “Don’t Forget To Share” by Nevada Business in the Northern Nevada Family Owned Business Awards! We are proud to be a part of the great Reno-Tahoe community and are humbled by this award. Since 2008, we have given $1,150,000 back to our community, and now we wanted to make a difference in another country. We are not only active in the greater Reno and Sparks area, but in Costa Rica as well.

Sala Family Dentistry made a significant financial contribution to help build an orphanage in San Jose, Costa Rica. After making this contribution, Dr. Jason, his wife Lynsey and their 3 kids Addison, Sawyer, and Colin spent a portion of their spring break at the Abraham Project helping serve these children.

The Abraham Project is dedicated to transforming the local community in Costa Rica by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of both individuals and families through the implementation of five ministry areas.

It was a great opportunity to see Central America and the struggles of everyday life in a different country. This mission made a significant impact in all five of their lives and they are excited to visit Costa Rica again. You can be apart of this amazing organization as well and come help out at the Abraham Project on a mission trip.
